Obtain comprehensive and individualized speech therapy services in your home or a community setting of your choice. All direct services include care coordination with other members of your team and quarterly progress reports.

What to Expect Before Each Session

• Once you are scheduled, your therapist will share important information about your session through Google Drive and email, including your appointment details and confirmation of your chosen session location.  

• Your coach will share a learning plan prior to your session to help you and your learner prepare. 

What to Expect During Each Session

Your learner’s therapy session will be tailored to his/her individual needs and your family’s priorities which are established before the session during a virtual, initial Intake meeting.  A caregiver should be present during the entire therapy session.  Generally, the session will include the general structure:

• Your therapist will greet your learner and establish mutual expectations in a manner that suits his/her learning needs.  

• Your learner will participate in naturalistic activities designed to teach and practice the target areas outlined in your learner’s plan.  Activities will emphasize modeling language with your learner’s AAC device or system.  

• Your therapist will prepare a send-off for your learner that includes a recap of their participation and progress and a plan for continued practice at home, provided in a manner that suits your learner’s needs. 

What to Expect After Each Session

Within 24 hours of your learner’s therapy session:

• You will receive a brief, written summary of your learner's session with action steps and resources included.

• Your therapist will touch on session progress during a subsequent session with you (provided quarterly or upon family request).
